Project: Localization of Indesign/Illustrator/PSD/Dreamware

Project scope:

• Localized file page layout

• Image localization processing

• QA upon completion

Target languages: 30 languages across Europe, America, Asia, and the Middle East

Team: 1 PM, 3-5 engineers, 1-2 QA

Project duration: 15-25 working days

Challenges: • Creating a refined layout for localized language files and images within tight deadline

Solution:

• Reference the source files, familiarize and record project requirements, notify the client and confirm relevant issues immediately upon discovering problems, while also providing DTP professional opinions and methods for the client to choose from.

• Font, font size, color, and paragraph order must strictly follow the source files, with content on the current page as much as possible.

• Image localization and final color, text layout, and resolution are basically consistent with the source files.

• For online files, remove unnecessary line break markers. To change the style, find the corresponding code and change its original settings according to the requirements to achieve the final effect.
